'A pleasant interlude in Easingwold'
"I stayed at the George Hotel for a long weekend mid May, 2012. Check-in was conducted in a very efficient and friendly manner and my room (a double although I was travelling solo) was large and comfortable with a good en suite bathroom with a large bath and ample hot water. I actually prefer to shower and although there was a showering attachment to the bath taps there was no shower curtain. The bar and lounge areas were comfortable with a good choice of well kept real ales as well as the usual brewery fodder. I stayed on the hotel's half board tariff and the food both at dinner and breakfast was consistently good and well served by the George's friendly staff. The hotel is situated opposite the village square but parking is a doddle with no apparent restrictions anywhere just in case you can't find a space either at the front of the hotel or in their rear car park. Easingwold is well situated for visiting the various attractions in the area and the York 'park and ride, scheme is excellent. In short, a well run hotel and well worth a visit. I will be returning."

'Another enjoyable stay'
"The staff and management are friendly and helpful. This is a second stay and the food and accommodation was to the same high standard as the previous stay. The food is of good quality and well presented without it being over presented."

'Weekend stay at George Hotel'
"We have stayed at the George on several previous occasions and find it's location ideal when visiting Easingwold. The rooms are comforable and well appointed. Breakfasts are excellent and staff are obliging. The hotel bar is a pleasant place to enjoy a pint, eiter inside, or outside overlooking the town square market place. Overall a very comforable and relaxing place to stay."

'George Hotel at Easingwold'
"This was our second visit to the George at Easingwold and it did not disappoint. As previously Kay and Michael were very welcoming and informative. Our room was well looked after and comfortable. The food was extremely good with a wide range of choices and specials to tempt any palate, cooked and presented to a high standard. In addition there is a variety of beers and wines from which to choose. The hotel exudes a warm and pleasant atmosphere ideal for meeting with friends and enjoying the company of other guests."
