  CAMRA has included The George in the 2011 Good Beer Guide and our real ales have been Cask Marque accredited.

• BREAKFAST AWARD

  Following an unannouced visit by the inspector in September 2011 - we now have a EnjoyEngland Breakfast Award.

• WI-FI

  Free Wi-Fi is available in our public areas.

• YORKSHIRE PRODUCTS

  Wherever possible, we source our food and real ales from growers and producers within Yorkshire. Over the forthcoming months, we will be featuring more food and drink from the region; and hopefully doing a little for the environment as well.

• SMOKING

  To comply with UK legislation, the whole building became non-smoking on 1st July 2007. There is a smoking shelter in the car park, and from Easter until the end of September, tables overlooking the cobbled Market Square.
