It is with great pleasure that we announce the appointment of Alan Jamieson as our new Head Chef. Alan has been with us for six years, and we look forward to his drive and expertise in new and varied menus that will be introduced in the near future.

Wherever possible, we source our food and real ales from growers and producers within Yorkshire. Over the forthcoming months, we will be featuring more food and drink from the region; and hopefully doing a little for the environment as well.

SMOKING

To comply with UK legislation, the whole building became non-smoking on 1st July 2007. There is a smoking shelter in the car park, and from Easter until the end of September, tables overlooking the cobbled Market Square.  




FITNESS SUITE

All guests can enjoy complimentary use of The Galtres Fitness Suite – a mere stone’s throw from your bedroom door. Please note that the Fitness Suite is not managed by the hotel, and residents must be over 16 to use the facility.
