SOME COMMENTS RECEIVED RECENTLY:

Once again, thank you for a lovely stay, we will be back in the Autumn for another week.

The room was lovely, the food was excellent, and all the staff made us feel very much at home. It makes a real difference when you receive that personal touch, and people take a genuine interest in your holiday, and the places you have visited. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and hope to visit Yorkshire again very soon. No need to ask which hotel we will be booking into on our next visit, it will be the George every time we come up to Yorkshire now!

Just a quick note to thank you for all your trouble over us. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend - the weather could not have been kinder to us - your food is excellent and the accommodation great. We will return!

The atmosphere was both elegant and cosy, the service excellent, the food likewise, and everyone commented on the fact that we were all able to mingle freely rather than, as so often happens, splitting up into seperate groups.
